Kia Motors Nepal has teased the all-new Carens 7-seater MPV ahead of its launch in the Nepalese market. The 7-Seater MPV will be rivalling the likes of the Suzuki XL6, Suzuki Ertiga and other three-row models in our market.
Kia Carens: Trims and Features
In the Nepalese market, the Carens will be available in a single Prestige trim only. The Carens MPV will be a feature-loaded offering with several features like keyless entry, a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, a driving rear view monitor, electrically adjustable ORVMs, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering mounted controls, front parking sensors, 5 USB Type-C ports, and 6 speakers, etc.On the safety front, the Carens gets six airbags, ABS, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), HAC (Hill-start Assist Control), DBC (Downhill Brake Control), BAS (Brake Assist), all-wheel disc brakes, rear parking sensors and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Kia Carens: Engine and Gearbox Details
The Carens MPV will be available with a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 115 bhp with 144 Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be handled by a 6-speed manual transmission.
Kia Carens: Dimensions
The Carens MPV has the longest wheelbase in its class. In terms of dimensions, the Kia Carens measures 4,540 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,708 mm in height. The Carens will be available in eight colours – Imperial Blue, Moss Brown, Sparkling Silver, Intense Red, Glacier White Pearl, Clear White, Gravity Grey and Aurora Black Pearl.
Kia Carens: Expected Price
The Carens MPV is expected to be priced between Rs 50 Lakh- Rs 55 Lakh in the Nepalese market.
